Positive: Comfortable hotel with great pool. Really enjoyed the karting experience but make sure the hotel gives you your certificate before you go to the karting circuit.

Negative: We had to change room after first night. First room did not meet the specifications based on our booking. They did not acknowledge that we had booked the “karting experience” initially which we had to challenge.

Summary: Enjoyable stay - good restaurant and facilities.

Positive: Good. Clean. Reliable. Comfortable. Its a great escape from the busy beach hotels. The occasional engine roar from the track is not intrusive at all.

Negative: Not much not to like. The pool could be a bit bigger, with some more sunbeds... but enough grass if needed. The fact it's far from the beach (which can be seen as positive) can also act as a negative. Some commuting is involved to get to civilization.

Positive: I had an excellent stay at the Algarve Race Resort in Portimão. The hotel is beautiful, with stunning views of both the race track and the surrounding mountains — a truly unique and relaxing setting. The staff was attentive and highly professional throughout my stay. A big thank you to the team for the thoughtful gesture of having a mini cake delivered to my room on my birthday — it really meant a lot. I’d also like to warmly thank Maria at the spa reception. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. Her warmth and care truly enhanced my experience. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly come back!

Positive: It was clean and comfortable. It was very close to why we were there being the racetrack.

Negative: The only down part of our stay was that the water in the room was never replaced everyday. We had a bottle when we arrived but didn’t get another one through our whole stay.
