Positive: The location of the apartment was excellent, in the center of Alfama where the yellow tram goes. Easily took the keys from the locker on the door of the building. The apartment is in old building but very clean, and you have everything you need. You should definitely try pastel de Nata and cofee across the street, and start your day there! I will definitely come back again!

Positive: The description of the flat reflects exactly the way it is in reality. Everything one needs for having a break from exploring the beautiful city is there. Although the street is relatively loud indeed, one doesn't hear anything at all when closing the windows. The curtains are blackout which contributes to wonderful night sleep. The location is just great for exploring not only Alfama itself but also other adjacent areas. The Tagus - thus beautiful sunsets every evening - is very quickly reachable by foot. The host is also nice and responsive, in case of any questions appearing during the stay.

Negative: It is not really something to dislike but rather to accept and be ready for: given that the building is in the old/historical city part - the staircase is quite narrow and there's of course no elevator, so going up and down the stairs with the suitcase can be effortful. But it's, in fact, only a one-floor distance.

Positive: The best location and neighborhood with lots of local bars and restaurants. Located in the heart of Lisbon, so you can easily walk to the most interesting parts of the city. Rafaela and Fran are very helpful and kind people. I can't wait to go back there.
