Positive: Comfortable beds and pillows! Very clean and nicely laid out. Amazing value for how much we paid...better than most expensive hotels.

Negative: We would have loved an elevator as a couple of us had ailments, but I knew there were stairs, so we made it work.

Positive: Daniel, the receptionist, was really nice. They have some tea bags at the reception and a jar with muffins for the clients. Also the location of the place is great, right in front of a parking lot.

Negative: I paid for my tiny dog to stay here but they didn't provide anything for it. Nor a bowl in the room, nor a blanket, nor a small bed... i expected something after paying for it. My dog is tiny and it doesn't even lose hair, so paying for it and not getting the minimum was kind of a rip off. Also, the double room (which is more expensive) is tiny with almost no space to move around and you can't fit 2 people in the bathroom at the same time. Lastly you hear EVERYTHING. Every single person coming in and out and everything that happens in the street. Sleeping well was a challenge.

Positive: The best guesthouse I have ever stayed in. It’s stylish but kept the rustic vibe, perfect location, staff very friendly and welcoming. There are refreshments in the reception which you have full access to. Location is perfect for exploring and two car parks opposite the hotel. We had a view of the Forte De Santa Luiza it was great.

Positive: The room was well-cleaned and there were plenty of towels for us to use. The view from the room looked out towards Spain. The property has filtered hot and cold water in the entry.

Negative: While the room was nice, in the bathroom there was an air freshener that was on a timer to put out its fragrance. The smell was a little strong for our preferences.
