Positive: The host was very responsive and met me in person and explained everything I needed to know about the apartment. It really is an apartment, not just a room! Everything was spotlessly clean and I found the place comfortable for a short stay. Around the corner there is a typical Italian bar for breakfast, coffee, or a drink.

Negative: There is a good kitchen but it's not fully equipped for a longer stay. During my stay the WiFi was too slow to be usable, which was difficult for me because I needed internet to work. But the host guaranteed me that he'd look into this issue and get it fixed.

Positive: Alba Camere in Chiomonte has truly been an oasis during our long journey from Barcelona to Croatia on 2/8. After 12 hours on the road due to traffic and accidents, it was a great relief to find out we could still do the self check-in despite our very late arrival. To our surprise, instead of a simple room, we were given a spotless little apartment. It was equipped with everything we needed — even a kitchenette so we could prepare a quick dinner. The owner had kindly left us snacks, a bottle of cold water, and even a bottle of prosecco in the fridge as a complimentary gift — such a thoughtful gesture and a very welcome surprise! The next morning we checked out by ourselves and continued our long journey, but not before exploring the charming village and picking up breakfast from the local bakery. We would definitely like to return — perhaps for 2 or 3 nights next time — to fully enjoy the excellent value for money and explore the beautiful surroundings..

Negative: Everything was perfect. The shower drain was a bit slow but the owner was glad we informed him about it in order to fix it as soon as possible
