The food and drinks were excellent, making it easy to enjoy a great meal on-site when we didn’t feel like venturing into town. For those who do want to explore, the location is ideal—there are numerous shops, restaurants, and conveniences just a short five-minute walk away. One of the highlights of our stay was the romantic dinner I arranged for my wife and me. The staff did a phenomenal job with every detail, creating a beautiful and intimate experience that exceeded our expectations. The service was impeccable, and it became one of our favorite memories from the trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would not hesitate to return. Summary: Comfortable, friendly and relaxing stay with plenty to do! My stay at Alaya Tulum was amazing, from the moment I booked my stay I was contacted via WhatsApp by the service desk to confirm transportation to the hotel and to answer any questions I may have. Upon arrival me and my girlfriend got a couple complimentary drinks and even a welcome bottle of sparkling wine in our room. The property has a nice natural setting and full of palms, trees and climbing vines amongst the rooms. There are little notes around pointing out wild critters that may pass through the grounds at night (raccoons, coati, stripped iguanas and opossums). The beach is kept clear and clean each day and offers a great swimming spot at low tide. Or you can chill on the lounge chairs with coconuts or drinks from the hotel. The hotel not only offers daily yoga sessions in the mornings but every now and then meditations. The yoga was a pretty great way to stretch out before a snorkel trip. There are also many excursions you can book through the hotel like the biosphere tours, snorkelling, ruins tours and cenote visits or you can rent some bikes and go do some cenote hopping. The staff were so helpful, friendly and welcoming. Erik and Sofia were always at the front desk to help with questions or to make arrangements. Marcelo always made me and my girlfriend feel at home at Alaya Tulum if we ordered drinks he would happily offer to bring it to our rooms if we wanted and reccomended some great drinks.

Summary: Ocean front room was perfection! Watching the sun rise over the ocean from bed, having breakfast served on the patio while watching the waves, listening to the sounds of the surf while drifting off to sleep all made the trip magical! All the staff were lovely, food and drinks were delicious and perfect location on the beach! Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax.
