Positive: Though the hotel was near a road, the room was calm and only waters of Alaknanda river were heard. The hotel had a big terrace to the river, very good for sunrise photography. A nice Hindu temple, which was near a hotel, had a pass down to a natural bank of the river, so it was a good occasion to feel the nature in the morning before departure. The room kept well.

Negative: The room was a bit small.

Positive: Very clean place with lots of space, great view of river (listening to river while sleeping was very peaceful) and home cooked food was delicious! Host was very helpful to me. I am from USA and do not speak Hindi and needed help to get to next destination, he waited at the road for me to get bus and made sure I had the correct one. He was very kind, thank you!
