Summary: My family of 4 stayed in the mansard rooms. It was a perfect two bedroom set up with a private bath and sitting room for us to share. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was nice and cool compared to other places we stayed in Italy. The owner was nice and helpful. He recommended a delicious restaurant that we loved. He also offered for he and his wife to cook dinner and I wish we had stayed a second night to do that. The breakfast provided in the morning was simple but delicious and we could pick a time to have it ready. The location was great - quick walk to the beach and free parking a short walk away. I highly recommend this spot.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Al Vecchio Pioppo the place was spotless and beautifully designed. The owners took extra time to tour us around and shared history of the area and other spots for us to explore in Italy. They also made us an authentic Italian meal which was absolutely amazing. The owners definitely went above and beyond to make us feel right at home! Breakfast included was also excellent. We will definitely recommend this beautiful B&B to friends and family.

Summary: Clean room, good facilities, good breakfast. Good position for the centre of Praia and he sea. Gaetano, the owner, was an excellent host.

Summary: Gaetano & Antonella were amazing hosts. They helped guide us to the best spots in town on scooter and they were always available by phone! The room was vey clean and cozy, it really made us feel we were at a beach town! rooms are air conditioned as well! Colazione in the morning was good and just enough to get your day started! I would recommend anyone to come stay here. The experience and memories you will get by staying here will last you a lifetime as Gaetano and Antonella treat you as family! Thank you for the wonderful experience, we will for sure come again!

Summary: The owner is wonderful and very attentive, proud of his business. Although is a Bed & Breakfast, if they offer you to prepare dinner for you (not included in the nightly rate, but you will have to find a restaurant ayways), say YES. They will cook you a wonderful meal with local ingredients.

Summary: The breakfast was lovely, Gaetano is a good host and very polite. Nice central location and also less than 5 mn walk to the beach The room was big and with a nice balcony The facilities are great. And near by there is a restaurant not expensive with the best pizzas in Italy. Gracie Mille Gaetano.

Summary: Good stop on the way to Sicily. Very nice beach town with lots of good food. Only downside was room on second floor. Staff helped with luggae so not a problem.

Summary: I stayed here while on vacation with my two children. The B&B is very charming and we loved our room. However, the best part was the people at Al Vecchio Pioppo. They went above and beyond the level of service I expected. I highly recommend you stay at Al Vecchio Pioppo on your next visit to Italy.
