Akupe Cottage is situated on a 3.8ha lifestyle property. With Martinborough only a 12 minute drive away (road is sealed), you can enjoy a relaxing rural splendour and still be only a short drive to Martinborough's restaurants and vineyards.
Akupe Cottage is cosy, private and fully equipped for all year round comfort. It has two bedrooms (one queen bed, one single and one single bunk), and contains a TV, DVD, benchtop oven, hot plates, electric fry pan, fridge, bar freezer, and microwave.
***There is NO CELLPHONE COVERAGE here, but there is free Wi-Fi. And if your cellphone supports Wi-Fi Calling you will be able to receive calls (all networks), and txts (only with Vodafone and 2 Degrees).
Please inquire if you have a dog. We have sheep, and a dog ourselves, and we know that responsible owners will ensure that their animal doesn't roam. And PLEASE bring your dogs own bedding.

Summary: Communication with the owners were easy & they were so friendly! Key was in the door ready for us to arrive and we could settle in. Beds made with all linen provided along with towels and everything you needed. Cottage is beautiful and cosy! Stunning views across the farm!Many great movies and board games avaliable to use, and also badminton ready to go in the backyard. Full fridge and freezer in kitchen and freeview TV available. At night it was spectacular!! The stars were in the thousands and were so beautiful! We loved stargazing!! Lovely and peaceful with nothing around, so relaxing! Also had WIFI which was brilliant and dog friendly!! We loved this cottage and will definitely be back!

Summary: We enjoyed our weekend at Akupe. Everything we needed was there, although it would be nice to have a freezer as we had brought some frozen goods. But for a weekend stay it was no problem going without a freezer! Lovely part of the country & we enjoyed our stay 😊

Summary: Great get away, loved the farm sounds and smells. Our border collie really enjoyed it. Mornings would have been nicer if the eastern hedge was removed. Great comfy bed and brilliant shower.
