Summary: Hotel was amazing, the view was spectacular!! The room itself though had a few items that needed fixing like the sliding door to the main room was broken, the sliding door to the lounge was extremely difficult to slide and the ensuite was very rough and had broken splatter rail and tiles throughout tho none of this spoilt the stay it would just be nice of the owners fixed this as they are renting a penthouse so it needs to be penthouse standard.

Summary: We were there for my son's wedding and loved the property. Lots of room and lovely. only part was carrying all our luggage down 4 flights of stairs as we left on the flood bound Sunday. Had to get our cars out of garage as it was filling up fast. Really enjoyed our stay even with the weather on the Sunday.

Summary: Really nice apartments. Great location for dinning and fresh seafood. Nice pool and bbq area. Really good for business trips and family holidays. Great price and friendly helpful staff.

Summary: The Apartment was in a good location directly opposite the Boat Club where you could have meals or drinks. A lot of Tours left from this area as well. It was a great apartment, three bedroom with ensuite and a large deck with concertina doors. The living area was huge, a great place to stay. It does need a little maintenance mainly painting but we could see that the deck ceiling was recently replaced with new LED lights, not painted yet. So I assume they are trying to paint it and upgrade the lighting soon. We would definitely stay there again, good position, nice pool, great room.

Summary: The Akama Resort is a high quality apartment resort. The rooms are large, spotlessly clean, with all you would need for a great family stay. The location is perfect for whale watching trips as it is only a 5 minute walk to Hervey Bay marina. There are several good quality restaurants and bars nearby.
