Positive: Wonderfully peaceful location right on the edge of town. The cabin was the perfect size for the 2 of us. The wooden deck with long bar table, stylish decor and high-quality bathroom and kitchen fittings made it feel beautifully cozy and calming. Easy access and great communication. We used the outside bbq and cooked some dinner, and were grateful for the well appointed kitchen where it seems most everything had been thought of - even mosquito coils! The toiletries were a lovely treat too - smells divine. We caught the feeding of the birds in the late afternoon, which was cool.

Summary: Relaxing, peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle but an easy drive into town.

Positive: Blissful! That feeling like you are in the middle of nowhere... but still reasonably close to shops and 10min from Airlie. The birdlife each afternoon is spectacular plus spotting a bandicoot on the last night in my cabin was special. Beautifully decorated cabins, clean, extremely comfortable bed in the Cockatoo cabin! Peace and quiet, perfect for that reset, rest and relaxation Wonderful guide book in rooms, worth a read Best if you have a vehicle, but if not the local transport company recommended by Airlie Beach Eco.Cabins were wonderful and prompt and the courtesy bus to and from Northerlies appreciated.

Negative: Uber Eats difficult to get, no fault of the cabins, just a hot tip for people reading this if you have had a vino or two and can't drive

Positive: Everything was really good, the only thing was the shower head was terrible, it sprayed everywhere including out the door would get wet. It needs a new shower smaller head that you have more directional control with. It's a cheap fix to a really nice room and amenities. P.S. A exhaust fan in the toilet / shower would also be a plus, another inexpensive upgrade.
