Summary: Beautiful complete apartment almost immediately on a main road, where you can easily go anywhere by car. The apartment has everything you need and is beautifully modernly and neatly furnished. Also a useful book with beautiful locations to visit. Just a few things to keep in mind. If you are very tall or have back problems, the apartment can be a bit difficult, because the underside of the sloping parts is quite low. There is a nice covered area for the car, but your car should not be too big and wide to get there and turn around on the site. It just went well with my Opel Astra Station, but it shouldn't be much bigger than this. All in all, a perfect location with very friendly and helpful owners.

Summary: A gorgeous well furnished and air conditioned apartment, perfect for a couple. Bed very comfy, shower was excellent. Eneka was a very friendly and helpful host (even gave us a lift to the airport!). Ideally situated for exporing the Basque country by car, bus, train or even e-bike. Cycle path / walk along the river to the beach is lovely, and very close to the apartment. Hendaye station 10 mins walk, with trains to San Sebastian or Biarritz. 2 supermarkets, bakeries and restuarants / bars in the town centre are also a short walk away.

Summary: Lovely little place was upstairs of the hosts house in the attic with separate entrance,parking on site,only downside is it has quite low beams in places so if you are a 6 footer bring a hard hat.Host was lovely local supermarket lovely beach and prom old town really quaint .

Summary: Nice place, lovely appartment with all the luxe u need. We enjoyed it very much. The owner braught us to the treinstation cause it was raining. So sweet. And we love Basque, beautiful area and nice people.

Summary: A nice apartement mostly in red on the upper floor in a house. Perfect for a couple visiting the nice village of Hendaye. 200 m to a nice walk by the see leading to the plage. We looked around to San Sebastian by train and to Bilbao, the mountains, the aquarium i Biarritz ,St Jean-de Luz by car. We was very well introducerade by the owner.

Summary: It was a pleasure to arrive at the apartment. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed for your stay. We came by car from Carcassone, access from the autoroute was easy and we simply drove into the carport. It was walking distance from the train station so it made our trips to San Sebastian and Bilbao very easy to undertake. On other days we used our car to tour the Basque country, the coastal towns up from Hendaye and visit the beach. Hendaye has a beautiful beach and we were lucky enough to swim in the indian summer of 2014. We had a great week.

Summary: The apartment is a superbly crafted conversion of an attic over the principal residence. It has its own entrance and a carport for storage of a vehicle. The apartment could serve as a lesson in the effective use of space, with a splendid selection of cabinets, shelves and closets that area built into the walls. The unit has a separate bedroom and a completely equipped kitchen. Also an efficient washing machine in the spacious bathroom. Hendaye is a good alternative to staying over the border in more expensive Donestia/San Sebastian. And it is a much better choice than staying near Hendaye's beach which is overrun with tourists. The apartment is conveniently located for bus and train transportation, as it is less than a 10-minute walk to the main train station where the traveler has three alternatives: (1) The inexpensive Euskotren with departures every half-hour to San Sebastian/Donestia and Bilbao....with dozens of stops in between. (2) the SNCF trains (including TGV) to St Jean de Luz and Bayonne, and (3) the area's biggest bargain: Bus 816 that takes passengers to both St Jean de Luz and Bayonne for only 2 Euros! The location could not be better for grocery shopping as the town's two best markets (Intermarche and LiDL) are only five minutes away by foot. The apartment's only anomaly is the fact that the ceilings taper and occupants must be conscious of this fact as they move away from the center of the unit. It is apparent that the owners took considerable care when they created this apartment, and it serves as an excellent base for exploration of the Basque region.
