Summary: This place was an open air hotel... which is a cross between a hotel and a motel. I wasn't really a fan of the concept. It wasn't packed with frills (the elevator was broken). The room was alright, seemed clean, updated but not detailed. Shower was nice but lacked real pressure and was quite narrow (I have broad shoulders and barely fit). Service was adequate.

Summary: The hotel was really nice and in a decent location. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only downside was that the elevator was broken during our 3 day stay so we had to use the stairs any time we left or returned to our room.

Summary: Rooms were clean, updated, we could even cast to the tv from our phones. Continental bkfast. Staff were helpful. Walking distance to little Tokyo, Chinatown shops and restaurants, el pueblo and Dodgers stadium

Summary: We stayed here for an event at dodger stadium. It was perfect for the occasion. The clerk did let us know about a shuttle to the area, but we decided to walk. The walk wasnt bad. Some uphill but not too far. The shower was pretty nice and the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioner didnt get very cold, but it worked fine as a fan. Overall id stay here again. Definitely more pro than con.

Summary: Staff was very helpful with local suggestions for travel/safety of area. Room was clean, up to date, enjoyed the traditional look of the outside of the hotel. Very close to all attractions within Chinatown, free breakfast is a nice perk for the price within LA.

Summary: My family and I had to wait 40 minutes for the 2nd shift front desk clerk to clock into her shift and process our check in. Apparently, the employee before her ended his/her shift at 9:30 pm. But we had arrived at 9:25pm and no one was at the front desk. I wished we were notified about the check in time beforehand. There is nothing listed about the shift discrepancy for checking in on Expedia or their website. Besides that inconvenience, everything else was fine.
