Positive: Coming to Ahura’s hotel was an amazing choice. The encounter with him was definitely the most empowering and special experience on my trip. I even extended my stay in order to go through a journey together. He is the best host I’ve ever had. He is a welcoming person with a powerful energy and vibe. Other than that my room was greater than expected. We were surprised by the room sizes, the beautiful view and huge windows! It was amazing waking up with so much natural light, so different than the normal standard room in Asia. The room was clean and fully equipped we had so much space. The location is great though the building is not in busy street, it gives a home feeling to it.

Positive: What I thought would be a simple hotel stay turned into one of the most meaningful parts of my trip. I hadn’t planned on extending my stay, but after meeting Ahura, that decision felt natural. The connection, the conversations, and the energy he brings created an experience that was both grounding and empowering. He has a rare ability to make people feel truly welcome, and it shows in every detail of the place he hosts. The space itself only added to that feeling. Instead of the compact, dim rooms I’ve gotten used to while traveling in Asia, this one felt open and breathable. Large windows filled the room with daylight, the view was beautiful, and the amount of space was a genuine surprise. Everything was clean, thoughtfully equipped, and comfortable enough to really settle in. ❤️ Days often started with yoga on the roof and ended by the pool, which was peaceful and beautifully maintained — an easy place to slow down, reset, and enjoy the calm atmosphere. Even the location supports that sense of ease. The hotel sits away from busy streets, and that quietness gives it more of a home than a hotel feeling. Overall, the stay felt personal, intentional, and far more memorable than I ever expected. Thank you 🙏🏼

Positive: Super kind guy, doing everything to make our stay comfortable. Comfortable bed, hot water, ac, swimming pool, quiet and not so far from downtown. He even offers grilled corn on his campfire! Really good value for the money

Positive: At the end very good because they gave us the room we booked and it was cleaned and without cockroaches

Negative: The first night there was a cockroach on the bed, very unusual and disgusting. Luckily we had another room and everything went good.

Positive: Almoat everything. For this price, probably it was best buy at the time. Big room, quiet most of the time, Wi-Fi is super fast.

Negative: A little bit far from main area, but not far enough for score to be lower then 10 :)

Positive: Great location and value for money. Hot water was good, pool was nice and staff were very accomodating. They also have a really nice rooftop so you can watch the sunrise and sunset. We stayed in 3 different rooms and they were all very spacious and had nice big windows.

Negative: Property needs some love. Bed sheets were very old. The room with a balcony has these great windows but when you open them its basically just sliding doors, the room is on the 3rd floor and a fall would be very bad, dangerous if you have kids. Towards the end of our stay we had an altercation with the owner. The air conditioning stopped working in our room so we were moved to another room. He accused us of breaking the Ac and asked us to pay for it to be fixed. This was very uncomfortable. We flat out refused and told him if he wanted us to pay for something we did not break he would have to get the police involved. He ended up dropping it and stoped asking. then was very cold to us for the rest of our stay. He also asked us for a $20 note because the man fixing the ac wouldn't take his ripped one, We swapped with him and later found out that no one would take the note as payment for us either. This left a bad feeling lingering for our last few nights and we will not be returning to this hotel.
