Positive: I loved the location, the room, the staff was excellent as well. From the young man ar the front desk to the servers at the restaurant. The breakfast was great with some elements of local cuisine which was great. You can request omelets at breakfast. The room had air conditioning which was so appreciated due to the heat in Voi. Water pressure was great, bedding clean, mosquito nets available. You can request transport to the SGR from the front desk. You can take a Tuktuk into the town as well. They also have parking. I will recommend it to others and will more than likely stay here every time I come to Voi.

Negative: There were several cats in the dining area. On tables and chairs which is gross and not hygienic at all.

Positive: The deluxe room was very nice and big, had a partial view of mountains. We didn't hear the road but could hear the train, not very often though. The restaurant and bar were a nice space. the food wasn't great, but not bad and very cheap.

Positive: The website states that the rooms have AC. So, when you reserve a room for the advertised rate you would assume that you would have AC in the room. NOT so. The advised rate is for an African style room with NO AC. to get AC you have to pay an up charge of around double the advertised rate.

Negative: The hotel sits between a very busy highway and the railroad. So, you have the sounds of traffic most of the night or the train passing by at different times of the night.

Summary: The staff were very nice. The food was great and very reasonably priced.
