Loads of mature trees and birdlife, its hard to believe you are in central Whangarei. No house overlooks the unit. Nice bird sounds. City traffic hard to hear. Summary: Very nice host, responsive, place was bright clean and affordable but road there is difficult and host may want to fine tune the equipment. Carpet had unpleasant odor. Overall, though, it worked for us.
