Positive: It was a great location! A lot of late night very good food options and plenty of variety. Public transit was reasonably easy and we took it to UCSD and Old Town. We drove everywhere else, and everywhere we wanted to go was a really quick drive (Balboa park, 15-20 min with traffic), Old town (10 minutes), Hillcrest (10 minutes), Convoy (5 minutes). The house itself was amazing to stay in, there was a beautiful grand piano, nice couches to enjoy, and free water and snacks. Kitchen was stocked with any essentials we might need to cook, and was really easy to use. The pool was beautiful and clean! The bathroom was nice. Overall the host was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond. The other rooms in the house can be rented out to visitors but were empty while I was staying there and the host stayed off the property.

Negative: I had an overall great experience and would definitely recommend this stay. That said, you get what you pay for, so it's a great price and accordingly smaller accommodation. The room itself is very small, and barely fits the two twin beds side by side, but there is a closet and cabinet for item storage, which is nice. The mattresses are a little thin/squeaky, but overall well worth the price.

Positive: Jason was great to work with. The property was nice.

Negative: The first night there was a party going on just above my room and I didn't get much sleep. Jason was kind enough to relocate me to another bedroom where it was not noisy.

Summary: Good, but can be noisy if there is someone in the unit above you.
