Located on Simonton Lake in Elkhart. Nice & compact, 400 square foot studio apartment with a million dollar view! Perfect, quiet getaway for short or long stay. Whether you are visiting the area for pleasure, business or to catch a Notre Dame game, our place is excellent for a couple retreat, solo adventure, fisherman, ND parents, alumni or fans. The lake is clean & shallow for swimming & floating. Gorgeous sunrises and beautiful lake anytime of the year. Sunbathe, swim or float in the summer, enjoy the beauty of the fall foliage or spring flowers while kayaking the calm water, or ice skate in the winter with crisp air and a picturesque backdrop. This is a perfect location! Although it is a peaceful, quiet retreat away from the hassle of Notre Dame traffic, it is so convenient to everything. Close to snowmobile trails and snowskiing in the winter. Full kitchen with stainless steel/black appliances, including full refrigerator, stove, microwave, Keurig coffee machine and a washer & dryer. Fire ring, kayaks, paddle boat, and noodle floats available for your use. We are just a phone call or text away, if you have any problems. Peaceful quiet neighbors. Calm lake all week, normally busy with boats only on Saturday & Sunday afternoons in the summer. Excellent location. Only 1 mile north of the Indiana 80/90 Toll Road exit 92. With a 5 minute drive of numerous fast food , pizza, and sit down restaurants, local grocery store, Walmart, shopping, nail salon, tanning salon, movie theater, and bowling. Just 25 minute drive to Notre Dame & The South Bend Regional Transportation Center/Airport. 5 miles to Elkhart Airport. Close to Das Essenhaus, Shipshewana, Round Barn Theatre, & Amish Acres. Self check in with keypad on door. Code will be provided 3 days before check in. There is only room for ONE car to park!! Arrangements must be made PRIOR to your stay if you will have two cars!

Summary: Pretty view of the lake from a nice covered patio. Clean and efficient set up. I would not recommend for persons with disabilities - there is a stone path to the door.

Summary: The property is just as described. Lovely modern decor, very comfortable bed and a view. Oh what a view! Nice flat property easy to navigate and I am mobility challenged with Muscular Dystrophy. My daughter's (2) and I had a wonderful stay. The apartment is also very well appointed both in the kitchen and bath. Plenty of fluffy towels, beach towels, bathroom necessities and kitchen tools etc. Highly recommend!

Summary: We stayed in an adorable little apartment that had everything we needed. We also had designated outdoor space that was just for us. The paddle boat, kayaks, and paddle board made for some great workouts. Being on the water is always so relaxing! The hosts were available but not intrusive. We hope to go back!

Summary: The Brothers wet great hosts! Great and well furnished little studio with AMAZING screened in porch and access to the beach. Unusual to have so many geese around but really was ok as long as you watched your step. The walkability of area was quite low and the drivers around are both careful. As the the stay itself- 10/10 amazing! The Brothers are great and kind hosts! Fun and beautiful sandy beach access with clean kayaks and paddle boats. Highly recommend.

Summary: The couple Kim & Larry (the owners) whom we never saw have a fantastic little place here. It's called an apartment but I think that term doesn't do it justice. Only thing wrong with our stay is that is was too short and rather chilly. There is nothing that you'd need to bring with you except food & drink. We even added a few things, tongs for indoor cooking and a thermometer for the enclosed patio (don't know if they'll want to keep them). The lake and it's view are great. The water that was much too cold for swimming at the time we went was crystal clear. We want to go back again. If you've never been to the area make sure to leave time to go to the RV Museum.
