6 Bedroom House in Old Forge

Beautiful waterfront log home situated only 1 mile from Old Forge. Five bedrooms including 2 masters, one large bunk room, one room with a queen and one room with two twins. There are two living areas (one for TV, and one for fireside gatherings, family games and billiards) and a beautiful screened porch overlooking lake. The large island kitchen with breakfast bar is fully equipped for simple or sophisticated meals. Each master has a private bath, along with two other generously sized bathrooms for the secondary bedrooms. The front outdoor deck features a new hot tub in 2021 for post boating or swimming warm ups. There is also a full size laundry room.
All of this with a large circle driveway for plenty of cars or a vehicle with a snowmobile trailer, adds to the convenience of this property. For the winter you can add on the apartment that comes with a heated garage!
First Floor – Front door opens up to a large kitchen with a dining room table that seats 8 and an island that seats 4. Kitchen is fully equipped with a electric range, dishwasher, microwave and French door refrigerator. Just off the kitchen is a full bath. Also off the kitchen is 1 of 2 living areas with a large L-couch, wood fireplace, and television. Also in the room is a full size pool table. Continuing toward the water side of the house is a three season room an open covered deck overlooking the canal between the pond and First Lake.
On the other end of the first floor is another living area with a TV and full house sound system. Located off the living room are two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 includes 2 twin beds. Bedroom 2 includes a full bed.
Past the second living room is a bunk room and a second full bath. The bunk room includes 2 bunk beds and 2 twin beds.
Second Floor – After ascending up the large log staircase you will find 2 bedrooms. Both bedrooms 4 and 5 contain a queen bed with a full bath, and French doors leading to a deck.
*Apartment – Located 50ft from the main lodge, it has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, a living room and a full kitchen. Extra Charge.

Summary: The property was magnificent and spacious! Beautiful views of the lake! Plenty of living spaces to be gather together or have separate time as needed, for our multigenerational family if 10. Th property contained everything needed for fun on the lake, meal prep and comfort. Cleanliness was great even to my exacting standards. Our host was very easy to communicate either and responded quickly to any questions that came up. Timberwind was fabulous!

Summary: Beautiful property. Plenty of space for large families. We loved the large dock with room for fishing and swimming and the use of kayaks and paddle boat. Property is very kid friendly. We will be back next year

Summary: Clean house that caters to a variety of lifestyles allowing gathering areas in hile also providing space to spread out and doing so it comfort and scenic beauty. My family and I had the pleasure of spending 5 nights here. It has everything you need accomodations wise and the property and location are top notch. Short drive to everything, great fishing, kayaks and canoe on site to use saved us from hauling our own, renting over priced ones, and allowed us to soak in the beauty of the area. We made memories and the 4 and 5 year olds absolutely loved it all. Hope to stay again.

Summary: It was a great house for the extended family vacation this year. The boys all loved the pool table. My Mom and I loved sitting out on the porch in the morning. We all enjoyed the campfire pit. We used the kayaks and had a few first timers who really liked paddling. Plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen had pretty much everything we needed except a whisk or hand mixer. Great location and only a couple minutes to downtown. Owner quickly responsive when I had a question. We had a great time and I’d highly recommend this property for a large family vacation.

Summary: The property was perfect for a couple's snowmobiling weekend. It's very close to lake access, with a circular driveway large enough to park trailers. The large garage made it easy to park the sleds overnight. We enjoyed the spacious living room and real fireplace. The kitchen was well-appointed, which made cooking at home very nice. We will definitely come back again next year.

Summary: We enjoyed a week of staying in a great home for many guest. While we were gone all day the evenings we cooked played pool and even got in the outside gacuzzie with 2 feet of snow and 10 degrees. I plan on renting it again.
