- Pet Rules:
We are glad to host your pets too (as in dogs 🐶). Anything beyond that — lizards, ferrets, emotional support peacocks — needs a little pre-approval, just so we’re all on the same page. Regardless of how well trained the pet is, we have found pets do crazy things at unfamiliar locations. I really do not want to charge for cleaning carpets or floor rugs. It’s a pain, so please READ carefully! Thank you!
We ask for compliance in a few house rules:
🛋️ No pets on the furniture — no matter how much they side-eye ya.
🚪 No pets in the bedrooms. We just replaced carpets and are trying to keep things fresh and fur-free.
🛏️ Bring their own bedding if possible to prevent marking or nervous accidents. Trust us, they do happen! If you don’t have any, let me know — I’ve got extra pet blankets you can use.
🚿 No pet baths in the tub. That spa day is for humans only.
🚧 Please keep them on wood flooring, use the baby gates provided or close bedroom doors to ensure compliance.
🚫 No unkenneled solo pet parties — please don’t leave your pet unattended unless properly crated.
🐶 Need pet care while you're out? We’ve got a Rover sitter on standby — just say the word.
💩 Please scoop the poop. It’s basic trail etiquette and good humaning.
There is a $40 per week per pet fee for dogs (capped at $120 per month), Any other pets will be considered on a case by case basis- please inquire. If you already paid it through your reservation, great! If not, please reach out and we can discuss the various channels depending on how you booked that we can use.
*Violations of house rules may result is a $250 fine.

Summary: I stayed by myself.Most everything one could need was included.If you are actually disabled or in a wheelchair it might not work that well.It's tight next to the bed and next to the toilet.I'm 6'-5" so it was tight for me.The manager was very pleasant the process was smooth.I would probably rent it again..Its in a convenient location. Generally quite good.

Summary: Cute & cozy little place, perfect for the two of us. Although we pretty much only slept there, it was well appointed for cooking and relaxing in front of the smart tv, and bed was comfy. Freeway and grocery nearby. Quiet neighborhood. Would stay again. .

Summary: We came to Albany to attend our granddaughter’s college graduation and visit family. The cottage is located within blocks of downtown Albany providing ready access to unique restaurants and boutique shops. The VRBO is very modern with the latest appliances and furnishings. The king size bed is very comfortable. The host, Mary, was very responsive to queries handled any issues that arose. We would love to stay there again during a future visit!
