Little Rosa Lake is a small, private lake with no public boat access. There is a canoe provided for guests' use. Great lake for canoeing, swimming, kayaking, paddling boarding & floating in the sunshine! The perfect place to ESCAPE & RELAX!

Summary: We brought our mother who is dealing with stage 4 cancer and members of the family from the area we’re able to come spend some wonderful time with her and each other in a very comfortable beautiful setting!! Thank you so much!!

Summary: Rosa Retreat is even more beautiful, immaculate, private, and perfect than the description suggests, for a gathering of people who want togetherness but also spaces to retreat. The great room area is lovely but gets a bit noisy with more than a few people. Retreat to the downstairs living area, the upstairs loft gathering area, the dock, the fire pit area, the back deck, the front porch, or (our favorite) the screened in porch, where the breeze blows through, you can watch both the lake and the front yard activity, play a board game, or put your feet up and read a book. The kitchen is quite adequate, although a few items would help with cooking for 14: a pasta pot, a large casserole dish, some mixing bowls and a larger coffee pot. The outdoor grill is clean and works well. We never found any kind of "manual" for the house. Had to email the rental agency to find out the wifi code. Also could have used some instruction on how to best use the three level AC system. Some of the beds were extremely comfortable, but the twin beds were a bit too firm for my taste.There were stacks of brand new fluffy white towels in each bathroom and also kitchen towels. Kids loved swimming off the dock, as well as the game/toy cupboard. We had the lake to ourselves all week. We also used the fire pit with provided wood. Some of our multi-generational group explored bike trails, and we all enjoyed the Lumberjack Show in Hayward. Great restaurants in the area, too! A wonderful stay!
