Positive: The property had everything we needed. Even a hair dryer, dog blanket, dog bowl and many more things to make you feel home from home. Even had salt and pepper in the cupboard, which I have never seen before from a self catering apartment. It is like they thought of everything. I don't have kids nor didn't bring any but certaintly family friendly with the rooms and space they have. If you want to cook it has every utensil you need. I felt so at home here but most of all the view from the roomy, colourful lounge whilst watching TV was the ultimate comfort for my elderly mother. It is a small town so there isn't a car-park but easy to park alongside the road. We never had any problems parking near the property. The beach is opposite with a quaint local pub. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Really enjoying tourists and their stories. I could not recommend this property enough. Even if you don't drive there are regular bus services just across the road, but with the perfect double glazing you don't hear anything. Only if you have the window open!! The view from the apartment is one of the best qualities. To watch the moody mountains and coastline bay in daylight, sunset or sundown. I cannot wait to come back again. In terms of what to do in Bute. For drivers... drive around and explore. For walkers... you won't get bored. There is a perfect blend of mountains, coast and countryside. Rothesay that boasts a 13th century castle. St Blanes is an ancient monetary hiding viking and medieval graves under a ruined chapel. Moun Stuart is a Victotian mansion that I cried throughout, just by witnessing its sheer beauty. There is no place in the world like it. I hope you enjoy your stay at Bute. It is purely magical steeped in ancient history.

Positive: A spacious, comfortable apartment with amazing views over the water and to the mountains. The accommodation was very clean, it had everything we needed and there was plenty of fresh towels. Although we had brought our own there was also tea, coffee and biscuits provided. The street is quiet and is well placed to explore the surrounding areas.
