Positive: It's one of the best places I have stayed in Berlin. The rooms are extraordinary -very spacious and well designed and if you get a view on the river it's spectacular. I also liked the pictures and names of the rooms. They are connected to the Straße der Erinnerung in Berlin in front of the building, featuring anti-Nazis, such as Georg Elser and others.

Positive: A very peaceful and quiet retreat from the bustle of the city. Walking distance to many forms of transit and even an organic grocery! For our first time in Germany, we enjoyed the hospitality and the late hotel bar (as our train was 2 hours later than we originally planned for!). We were also walking distance from a lovely food hall and delicious vegan restaurant. It was very easy to get around the city and the room had so many beautiful big windows.

Negative: This was our first time traveling to Europe, and we stayed in 3 different cities/countries, but this was the first hotel where we had the 2 twin beds next to each other as a couple. We also had a river view, but it was not the most scenic area, so I would say you don't necessarily need to splurge for this. Lastly, now that I'm a bit more familiar with Berlin, I may stay in a more active part of town. As a traveler, we wanted to see some of the city bustle at night, and this area seems to be a bit quieter in the early evening. This can be a plus, depending on what you need as a traveler!
