Summary: Jonathan welcomed us as we arrived. He gave us a full overview about the area, touring options and the house facilities. He was very considirate and we worked a breakfast that suited our kosher diet. The house is AMASING! huge bed, beutiful bathroom, everything is nicely decorated. We didn't come with a car so we used public transportation (Uber, train). It worked great.

Summary: Beautiful, history-rich house with wonderful hosts. Be aware that the house is old and repurposed for BnB, so e.g. the windows are a bit older and the bathroom was on another level in our case. It is located right at the beach front and super quiet.

Summary: Aberley House (the name of the beautifully restored house) was really the high point of our two-week trip around England. It's part of the architecturally significant Beach Lawn Terrace houses, across the street from the park-like Crosby beach, with the Gormley statues. We simply wanted a comfortable, upscale B&B while visiting relatives in the area and we were blown away - the house is light and airy, the full English is flavorful and satisfying, and the hosts, Jonathan and Yasmin, are incredibly interesting people. Ask them about their library, and the games room in the basement. Very cosmopolitan, and Liverpool city center is a short train ride away. We look forward to coming back!
