Summary: Lovely high-spec shepherd’s hut. Surprisingly spacious. Very well equipped. Gorgeous views. Super relaxing. A rather strenuous walk there and back to town but dogs enjoyed it and we needed the exercise! A perfect couple of nights with glorious weather to celebrate my birthday in beautiful Aberaeron.

Summary: Arrived at the location via a rather bumpy short drive and what a pleasant surprise. Hut was as described but better. Weather wasn’t great but we were able to take our dogs out down the bridle path into Aberaeron. Enough for us on our short visit. We also went to visit other areas that were great. The view’s were great sitting on the front decking and watching the sunset. Overall a pleasant visit.

Summary: The property was beautiful but I feel that the track road isn't explained well enough as our car literally wouldn't go down it without scraping badly every single time even with the car being at standard height, which made leaving the property a nightmare as we couldn't just pop out to the shop and back without it being extremely difficult and damaging the bottom of the car and to be honest if we had known how bad the road is then we probably wouldn't have chosen this property. If you have a 4x4 then by all means the road will be fine for you. Other than that it was perfect, our dog loved the garden, we enjoyed eating outside on the chairs and relaxing in the evenings, we lit the fire a couple of nights and was honestly the best holiday ever. The shepherds hut is beautiful and all of the little touches really make it, the owner was also very helpful and quick at responding. The location is beautiful and a 5min drive to Aberaeron town which has a lovely shop 'Elephants and Bananas' they sell homemade items by artists within 20miles. Also visited Devils Bridge which I highly recommend, genuinely my favourite place I've ever visited!

Summary: I enjoyed my stay ,property beautiful ,clean ,everything there you could need, just needed to contact host to find the place as sat nav stopped in Aberaeron but rang number given and were soon there ,the only downside was we walked into Aberaeron one afternoon & enjoyed the walk down but found it difficult to walk back but probably due to my health condition, took the car next day ,I loved it there so did my dog but my partner felt it was too far out for him ,but that's his loss,I sat outside one night 2.30 am the night sky is fantastic highly recommend.

Summary: If you are looking for a cosy, quiet getaway without being cut off from your modern digital world this is the place. The hut has been well thought out and has everything you could need for your stay. The farm is a little remote but the directions given make finding it very easy. The host ( Nicole ) is accessible & responsive if required but you are on the whole free to enjoy your solitude. A great place to relax with Aberaeron harbour a ten minute drive away if you do enjoy people watching. New Quay is a short drive away if you prefer beach activities. If staying in a Shepherds Hut is on your bucket list this is the one to tick it with.

Summary: Cozy and comfortable stay for 2. Woodburner very warm for the cold nights. Logs, milk, tea, coffee, a lovely welcome, very private from the owners home. Had a good walk down to aberaeron with lovely walks around the harbour, but it's a little steep walking back up. We had a lovely meal in the cellar and very good breakfast in ambassadors. Also a nice Chinese takeaway from pam laui. We saw the dolphins in newquay and ate at the penwig which was also good. This is a great getaway to recharge the batteries.

Summary: Booked a 3 night break and we felt slightly apprehensive as Storm Arwen was arriving in Wales the same time as us . Funnily enough I think it added to our experience!! The hut was exactly as advertised. Clean well designed and laid out with everything required to help you settle in. Logs were were provided when we arrived and the log burner was brilliant at keeping the hut warm and snug and easy to manage ( well my partner said so ) Nicole promptly provided logs when we requested more . The hut is in a gorgeous position and although the weather was far from ideal the view from it was stunning. Make sure to check out the night sky when clear, totally amazing ⭐️ 💫The town of Aberaeron has enough to provide everything you could possibly want over a long weekend and in an excellent position to visit other towns and places of interest. We had an amazing weekend and would love to return especially when the weather better to enjoy the veranda⛱but we wouldn’t hesitate to come back whatever time of year or whatever the weather . A total gem of a place. Thank you Nicole 😊

Summary: We arrived at the property at 3pm after following some excellent directions. We were greeted some friendly chickens on the pathway to the cabin. The code for the key worke perfectly and we opened the door to find a lovely bottle of prosecco as gift. The cabin was so much better than we could have imagined. Every little detail had been thought through. The bottle of milk and handmade soap were a lovely touch. We loved the log burner and used it both nights and one morning during our stay. The location is fantastic. We walked down to the town of Aberaeron for dinner with took about 20 mins. It was dark so torches would be advised. The walk back up was a bit of a huff but all very worth it. The host was very accommodating and couldn't do enough to help us. Even bringing us extra wood for the fire, in the dark. Thank you!! All in all a fab stay, we'll worth the money. We hope to be back.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the hut. The place was immaculate clean and very homely. It had everything we needed. Best thing was the view and tranquility of the place. I highly recommend it.
