Positive: Well located. Good gym. Nice staff. Clean well presented rooms

Negative: The size of food portions for main meal in the bar/ restaurant could do with an uplift!! Seems stingy. Sauna area needs a bit of modernisation/ refresh.

Positive: The pool & spa facilities were much better than many spa hotels.

Negative: The food was bland; felt like a Iceland meal. Little taste, virtually no seasoning & would prob not eat there again.

Positive: The location was good. The Spa was very nice

Negative: The room was in need of modernisation, windows were very drafty. The upgrade offered wasn't actually an upgrade, we chose to have evening meal but it wasn't an offer, it was just a way to get you to book to eat there, it was £25 paid up front to then be taken off the final bill. We also booked a treatment but didn't get what was booked. The staff accepted responsibility for both errors and offered a complimentary treatment and drink. This was still disappointing as we had booked for a relaxing weekend but had to complain about both which was very stressful.

Positive: Rooms facilities and setting are excellent staff very good

Negative: Breakfast expensive and prefer to be a buffet type as advertised, food not the best pet fees at £15 very reasonable but fee which we was told was for the cleaning after the dog was charged again for the second night but the room wasn’t cleaned after the first night. Hope that makes sense
