Positive: The comfort and location werer excellent and the pool was fantastic and opened at a sensible time---ie 7.00am The waitresses in the breakfast room were so helpful and friendly. They went that extra mile and were efficient in their duties!!

Negative: The restaurant was a disaster! Of the four meals we ordered on our first night - only three were eaten. The staff seemed to ignore us and were less than friendly. One waitress was particulary surly and did not seem interested in providing a decent service.My wife made an appointment with the hotel manager next day to air our complaint. She took with her the "duck"she had ordered in the restaurant and could not eat. She was informed it was not duck but "cockeral" despite that fact we were informed as we ordered that it was "duck".. As a resolution we only paid for the wine we ordered!!!! We never ate dinner in the restaurant again during our stay. Room Service was non existant. I could get no answer fom the telephone number given. Eventually I called at the Bar to be informed that the "restaurant was full" by the man in charge there!! What this had to do with my use of room service I never found out! I went to reception and eventually got some service(I only wanted a sandwich-at 9pm!!!!) brought to me by the restaurant manager!!!!!! Not a very professional show!!!

Positive: Everything was great.

Negative: The pool could use a little more attention. We still swam and it was nice but the floor boards around the pool are warped and rotted and the pool could use a good cleaning. But we still enjoyed it.

Summary: Great place to stay, great location would definitely stay here again.

Negative: It was New Years Eve/New Years Day - no restaurant or bar or room service available - we felt we should have been forewarned about this - (spa, sauna & swimming pool & gym were functional but we were not interested in those facilities).
