Positive: Breakfast was amazing, lovley selection but rather too much! Swimming pool was gorgeous. Easy walk into town and to the coast, Ubers back were very cheap.

Negative: Be aware it is very isolated, you need to be keen walkers and use taxis or have a car

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Abacatus Farmhouse! We were the only guests at the accomodation, so it was very quite. We enjoyed the room, the outdoors, the pool… had a lovely breakfast every morning, served outside. The staff was lovely and responded very quickly, even via the Booking-app. We had a car to go around and everything was very close. We took some (free) bikes to go to the town of Tavira. Mind you, they were very old. But they also offer an electric bike or new bike, at a price.

Negative: The A/C did not work in the room, but they have mosquito nets so we sleept with the door open.

Positive: Our stay at Abacatus Farmhouse was exceptional! The farmhouse is beautiful and tranquil, in a great location nearby Tavira and Cabanas. The breakfast was unbelievable and set you up for the full day - we never needed lunch! Everything has been thought of, the space was perfect and Fernando and team took very good care of us. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Positive: Fabulous fresh breakfast. Lovely swimming pool. Great to be able to use bikes to get into Tavira, and to go shopping at the nearby Aldi. Room cleaned every day.

Negative: Bed was very firm, and no drawers to put clothes in.

Positive: The farm setting was serene and beautiful. The pool was lovely and so refreshing as a time to relax or a chance to refresh after being away for the day. The local town, Tavira, was one of our favorite in The Algarve. The units are like apartments and so lovely to have all the amenities when recovering from jet lag and adjusting to a new environment. The hosts were so gracious and the breakfast was an abundant delight!

Negative: We had a welcome glass of Port, which wound up being our favorite Port from our whole trip. It would be great if they sold bottles on site.
