Positive: The lodge was very clean, and the room was spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient to enter the national park and on the way, you might also find several animals. We were greeted by multiple monkeys, a giraffe and several types of deer. The food was awesome as well and the restaurant staff was very good. The swimming pool was very clean and had a very good view of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Negative: The lighting in the room could have been better.

Positive: Good location close to the park with a view of Kilimanjaro

Negative: About half of the lodge has fallen into ruin and abandoned post-covid, well past its obvious former glory - all the rooms with the best views are gone. The beds were the hardest and most uncomfortable of any of the beds in all the lodges we stayed at during the trip - you could feel the springs sticking into your back - definitely in need of new beds.
