2 Bedroom Villa in Sagres

The Villa is fully licensed with the local government agency in Vila Do Bispo. Our house is full of light and open spaces with large terraces on two levels. Surrounded by trees with a fabulous garden and long wooded lot (3,600 square meters), enjoy morning coffee and a late night glass of wine in the privacy of nature. We have a couples bedroom with en suite bath and an upstairs bedroom with twin beds and adjoining bath and shower. There is a living space upstairs that can accommodate sleeping for one person, a space for morning exercise or a play area of kids. The pool is large enough for lap swimming and there is a outdoor kitchen and grill. If possible, we prefer to rent weekend to weekend. UPDATE: The discotheque property which was about 100 meters from the house and only operated in August has been sold and will no longer be in operation! We are advised it will be redeveloped as a residential property at some time in the future. No more disco!

Summary: The villa was very light and airy and very clean and well equipped. We were looking for a week of total relaxation and that is what we experienced except on our first night where we had no sleep due to the noise from a disco approx 50m away. Thankfully it was only one night as the music started at midnight and finished at 7.30 in the morning. ( the owner had advised of a disco which ran from end of July through August ) The villa was within close proximity of restaurants and a large supermarket and also some lovely beaches. Sagres has a welcoming breeze in the heat of the day. Would definitely visit again.

Summary: Beautiful house, very well maintained, has everything in the kitchen for cooking, very private garden. We weren’t bother by dogs barking like I had read from previous reviews. We barely heard the dogs one night at quite a distance. Not an issue at all. Since we rented in August, owner warned us of a nightclub opening in August only. But it was not an issue either. Would recommend the house for sure.

Summary: We had a lovely peaceful and relaxing stay at David’s villa. The villa and gardens are beautiful and huge so even though it was only a 5 minute walk to the main road it felt secluded and private. Supermarket is nearby and so are the beaches. Easy to get to everywhere. The little supplies such as olive oil and pasata were a thoughtful touch. All toilets had toilet paper and soap, again very thoughtful. Thomas’s the neighbour who checked us in and have us his phone number so was only a call away. The weather was particularly windy the week we were there and when the wind is not so strong it’s a pleasant relief from the heat, but we are looking forward to returning to the same villa in the near future. I would like to thank David and Thomas for doing everything to make our stay comfortable and wonderful.

Summary: We had a fabulous time at this property. We were looking for somewhere away from the package tourist destinations and we certainly found it here! David is a great host. Thomas and Daniela (neighbours) are wonderful and charming. The house is modern and spacious. We loved it and we went to a different beach every day. The pool was fresh and refreshing, which was just great for us. Cant think of any negatives which impacted is in any way. Lots of local restuarants within walking distance. Thoroughly recommend.and we can't wait to return! Family of 4, children 15 and 7.

Summary: David‘s house is a real paradise come true. The houses architecture is generous and opens up through the huge windows to the garden. The house itself is perfectly equipped with everything you ever might need. The pool is big and warm and was very popular by our kids. From the upper floor you have a beautiful panoramic view over all Sagres and surrounding. The terrasses offer good protection against the sometimes cold northern wind. We enjoyed the property this much that we didn’t leave it for some days and were completely satisfied! Maybe one of the best houses we ever had. Very much to be recommended!

Summary: Rental preparation and handover at the house was very nice and easy. Kitchen is well equipped, pool toys and towels, laundry and dryer and even beach toys are already in the house! There is a nice restaurant in walking distance and the supermarket is not even a 5 minute ride away. Beaches are close by and fun to explore. Unfortunately our Daughter got really sick so we could not enjoy the area as much but the more we were thankful for a nice house to stay and take care of her!

Summary: For us, this was the perfect villa! We were 4 adults who needed a little more luxurious house after tough days at the surf course ... It was wonderful to come home to this house with pool and beautiful terraces! We cooked a lot of food ourselves in the kitchen and everything worked well. Everything also worked very well with the Portuges contactperson, the neighbor. And the cleaning staff were super nice!

Summary: Modern house with good amenities. The pool was nice in the heat. Quite a few dogs around the neighborhood barking every night. We walked to the coast and town and also had a car. We were two couples, so twin beds and queen bed in the two bedroom should be noted. Several patios for lounging with comfortable furniture. This is a pretty laid back part of the Algarve which we enjoyed. Good restaurants in town. Didn't use the TV. Internet speed was adequate with 2 people on at a time.

Summary: We spent 2 weeks in August in David’s amazing villa. It was one of our best family holidays we ever had. The house is really inspiring, very spacious, very light and although the sun is always shining it doesn’t get too warm inside. The palms in the garden create a great vacation atmosphere and the pool is very clean, the water is a little bit cold (because the weather was not too warm this time in August), but it was a pleasure to swim each morning. Everything is like you can see it on the photos or even better. Sagres is a great place to be. You find great beaches, good restaurants and bars and it is still far away from the big touristic areas in the Algarve. We are sure, that we will return. Thank you, David for giving us the opportunity to live in your villa.
