Positive: We had a great stay at A Torra. Everything was thought of by the friendly and welcoming owners. From its central location, we were able to easily visit the beach and many beautiful places. The area has hidden gems, Lyn and Alaister know the perfect routes to these locations. Highly recommended

Positive: We had a truly wonderful stay at A Torra, a charming ground-floor flat perched in the idyllic village of Ville di Paraso. The flat has been tastefully refurbished – spacious, clean, with good furniture and a beautifully maintained patio perfect for lazy breakfasts or a glass of wine. Our hosts, Lyn and Alastair, couldn’t have been more welcoming. Not only did they greet us with a thoughtful welcome gift (a very nice touch), but they also went the extra mile with personalised recommendations for restaurants and hidden gems in the area. There are just a couple of things to keep in mind: the door frames are charmingly original – which is a nice way of saying very low. If you’re on the taller side, prepare to bow. No air conditioning, but a large fan was kindly provided and kept things manageable. A car is a must – the beach is a scenic 20-minute drive away, and parking is easy right near the flat. All in all, a delightful base for exploring northern Corsica – peaceful, picturesque, and hosted by two absolute gems. Would gladly return (helmet optional for tall guests)!

Positive: The location was beautiful with stunning views all around in a traditional Balagne village - only 15 minutes to Losari beach & 20 minutes to L'ile Rousse. The apartment was gorgeous, stylish & was very well equipped. Breakfast was excellent & generous with warm fresh bread & croissants, fresh fruit & Greek yoghurt. There were coffee pods provided for the coffee machine & also tea. Beach towels & a beach bag was a thoughtful addition. The large ( memory foam) bed was super comfortable with good pillows. Sitting in the pretty private courtyard with the beautiful views of the mountains just was just what you need to unwind & relax.w
