Summary: Had a wonderful stay at this neat-as-a-pin VRBO. Cottage was a 'tiny house': equipped with everything a pair of itinerant traveling seniors could possibly need, and with spaces and amenities arranged so that two people could easily move about without tripping over each other. Wendy Hanlan is a superb host, very friendly and welcoming - we thoroughly enjoyed her hospitality! The Cottage is just minutes away from Nova Scotia's fabled Martinique Beach, and within easy driving distance of the Eastern Shore's Clam Harbour Beach, making it ideal for folks who want to experience Nova Scotia's best 'sun, sea, and sand' destinations.

Summary: We hugely enjoyed our three days and nights in the fantastic Tackle Box Cottage in August. The area is amazing - Martinique beach glorious, little town of musquodoboit perfect for coffee, craft beer, fish and chips and hike routes. And the cottage itself was absolutely perfect for us. Outdoors it has lots of great places to sit in sun, fire pit at night, great bbq to use etc. inside great hot showers, everything we needed in kitchen - all stylish, spotlessly clean and a fantastic beach house vibe. The host has thought of everything. Washing dishes or filling kettle at kitchen sink while gazing out across front garden to the sea was a joy! Our host Wendy was wonderful from the very start, welcoming us to her fantastic local community and giving us lots of advise on hikes, grocery stores, beach walks etc. we 100per vent recommend this cottage and would 100 per cent stay again.
