Positive: Location and pool facilities were great.

Negative: Bedrooms were very cramped and double bed only accessible from one side. Would have liked a lamp in the seating area to make if feel more cosy. The onsite fishing was not very good.

Positive: We used as a base for our stay. Was clean and comfortable. The host was just lovely. We decided to stay longer and she accommodated us.

Negative: We felt that the chalet was a little small for our needs and the location was so far away from anything you have to drive everywhere. However, it was used as a base. Was quiet, sunny and the surrounding location fabulous so nothing negative to report. Would recommend :)

Positive: Very clean house in a nice and quiet area. We loved the fact that the whole resort was really looked after.

Negative: The smell of the house was terrible even though we kept windows open throughout the day.

Positive: The property was clean and well presented. It had everything you could need for cooking and eating, and plenty of board games to play. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the blackout blind in the second bedroom. The location, although not walking distance to anything, was a good base for driving around Cornwall which we did daily.

Negative: The property was very damp. There were damp patches on the ceilings in all the rooms, the beds felt damp when you got in them and your clothes felt damp when you put them on in the morning. The staff on site were not very friendly or helpful and the entertainment was very limited. The pool had very short opening hours, was freezing and you could only book one 45 minute slot per day. None of this is the fault of the owner of the property but something to consider when booking to stay on this site.

Summary: Nice accommodation, although the damp needs addressing.

Positive: Have stayed at this site before. Excellent swimming pool, shop and reception. Accommodation was lovely, and in a quiet corner.

Negative: The floor was sticky & dirty needed a better clean. Perhaps some larger bath sheets. The restaurant needs to cook for longer hours and staff not looking so miserable.

Positive: Nice little holiday park, staff all very friendly. Clean and tidy, good selection of games for children in living space. Well equipped kitchen etc.

Negative: Instructions to find property not given and this was important as hard to find due to needing to enter through a different entrance to main entrance of site. Neither phone numbers provided by hosts were answering and no return calls. Had to ask in main bar area in the end after driving around for half an hour. Swimming pool fully booked so unable to use the facilities which was a shame for the children. Accommodation very small, especially bedrooms.

Summary: Pleasant but needed clearer instruction re location and parking.
