Summary: Very pretty place in the middle of no where. Could have been a bit better stocked, bar soap would have been nice. Coffee pot needs replaced. Once the barking dogs were taken care of the place was very quiet.

Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was great, even better than the pictures. However, we were not too happy with the Highland Rim Retreat web overview compared to the reality. The horseback riding is for individuals who keep horses at the equestrian center; the heated swimming pool does not appear to have been in use for a very long time; and the general store was closed. The pool and horseback riding were the primary reasons we booked for three nights. The condo is easily 30 minutes from a grocery store, via winding, rural roads, so come prepared. We did enjoy the kayaks available for use in the small pond in front of the condos. I recommend this condo if you know what to expect.
