Summary: We had a large group of about 18-20 people depending on the day. The home was exactly as advertised and we did enjoy our time there. Clean, comfortable, etc...Several light bulbs were blown ( pretty minor) and it would have been nice to know that if you take a larger boat to the home, you are going to have a heck of a time getting out as the property is on the side of a hill and terrain is pretty steep, as a whole, Still a good place for a large group However on our second day the septic plugged, The tank needed pumped, The tank was excavated and the baffle knocked open to allow temporary drainage however we still had to plunge pretty regularly throughout the course of our stay. During our stay the tank was never actually pumped but we were left with a big hole in the yard that was left uncovered and marked off with rebar and caution tape and a large portion of the turf was rolled back. We are all only human and these sort of things happen, I understand that but it Did leave the majority of the usable yard, pool and deck inaccessible for the remainder of our stay. When I asked if the owner would atleast consider reimbursing a small portion of the cost, considering what we had to spend on the place, I was left with no reply, that was disappointing. All in all, our group was still pretty content with the stay.
