Positive: The apartment had everything we needed. Bed was comfy, great hot water shower, felt safe and secure, we did our laundry for $1. The young woman who manages the hotel doesnt speak much English and we only speak a few words of Thai, but she has a beautiful smile and is always helpful. We managed with Google Translate and some pantomiming. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood- no traffic noise! We like to walk so the location was perfect for us. It is a very pleasant 15-20 minute walk along the canal to.the Lak Song Metro station on the Blue line, which takes you pretty much everywhere tourists are likely to want to go. NOTE: as you are standing on the bridge over the canal that is closest to the hotel looking East (toward the Metro station), the sidewalk on the right side of the canal is for motorcycles. Walk on the left side of the canal. What could be improved: -there was a puddle of standing water around the toilet that never went away, just got grosser as the week went by - we were there for 1 week and were never asked if we'd like our room cleaned - there was 1 partial role of toilet paper in the bathroom when we arrived and no other rolls in the room. Toward the end of the week when I asked about getting another role, I was taken to the little store on the premises and shown the toilet paper for sale.. It was only 35 cents US, but still, it seemed odd we would need to supply our own toilet paper. - the balcony is very small and mostly occupied by the A/C fans, which are loud and blowing hot air.. You really can't sit outside on the balcony

Positive: Good location in case of going to Sai Tai Mai bus terninal. Our “balcony” was in front of a motorcycle parking but it was quiet most of the time. Toilet small 1 Person at a time, but enough for us. Spacious room and big bed. Old furniture, good fridge and kettle with coffee and tea set. Paid washing machine available, approx 40 Baht

Negative: Far from downtown, approximately 300Baht per way by taxi (car)

Summary: Good option close to the bus terninal Sai Tai Mai.
