Positive: The property is situated in a quiet village 35 mins south of Calais. It is very traditionally decorated and well-equipped for guests of all ages. There’s a boulangerie 150m down the road and an excellent restaurant about 1km over. It is very peaceful and comfortable.

Negative: The parking space in front is very tight to get in and out of HOWEVER there is free parking right across the road so if you don’t want to risk it, there is no need.

Summary: Perfect stopover point for a longer journey south (as for us) or to explore the local area.

Positive: Authentic place, with character! No ikea in sight. Great off road parking and really friendly host with a love of rugby (very flexible about our arrival time too). Cosy and well equipped.

Positive: Everything. Ideal location for Calais next morning ferry. Safe private gated parking on site. Charming spacious immaculately clean property. Downstairs bedroom, extremeley comfortable bed, all essentials provided inc tea coffee water soft drinks etc. Very pleasant host on site to welcone us and check we had everything we needed. Aldi 5 minutes away where we bought dinner to cook at the house as recommended restaurant closed unfortunately. Exactly as described and better.
