Positive: The location was great, I have family in the area. Off road parking. Very peaceful. Good for the beaches

Negative: It was advertised as having a washing machine but there wasnt one which would have been handy but not essential. Everything else was great

Positive: Lovely cottage, very clean and right opposite a lovely river walk. No problem with parking outside. The only down side was that it would be nice if it had a seating on the lawn and a gate at the end of the garden so the dog or your child can't get out. (There is a gate before the steps up to the lawn.). Overall I would definitely stay again.

Positive: Location is perfect to walk along the beach to the castle and back along the road. We loved the log fire and pretty village

Negative: no lighter for the fire and the parking wasn't clear. There was a car out the back the whole time we were there.

Negative: NO HOT water, and no-one answering our calls, All electrics and heating out of date and need revising, it wasn't made clear the only toilet/ wash/shower room was down stairs, someone with limited mobility would find difficult at night. we have stayed in cleaner places, not up to the usual standard of a styles Cottage

Summary: Once we sorted the heating although not the hot water, it was adequate for our requirements.

Positive: The location was in a lovely quiet spot with a beautiful river and woodland walks directly opposite. The kitchen was well equipped and the stone walled cottage very cosy. We enjoyed the log fire and the shower was nice and hot.

Negative: The bathroom was downstairs off the kitchen which is a problem with visits to the loo at night. The mattress in the main bedroom was low quality and could do with a topper and some decent pillows. There were so many objects & trinkets about, it felt like somebody still lives there and had moved out for the weekend. It felt like we were visiting and staying with elderly relatives! The sofas had definitely seen better days and were quite uncomfortable. It definitely could do with being updated with some decent living room furniture.
