Positive: Property very well looked after and fitted out. We really enjoyed our stay for 3 nights. Mum particularly wanted to pass on spotless cleanliness of upstairs, and liked the smart, minimalist & brightness of the upstairs fittings & decor. Heating was easy to use, instructions were good in the handbook.

Negative: We're not dog owners, but do understand that dogs are allowed. There was some dog hair on fabric furniture. We used the heating in the evening, and 'atmosphere' of dog became more noticible. (We found a dog bed was stored behind the sofa and against the radiator, phaps store elsewhere if a dog booking isn't made). A few of the cutlery, mugs & plates had light food debris. This was easy for us to rectify by pre washing before using but we wouldn't expect to need to do this. A mop string, or dog toy debris was beneath the kitchen island. Kitchen island was very useful, it would however benefit from locking wheels to prevent it moving if leant on, we were alert to taking extra care, particularly for my Mum of 83yrs. Would benefit from a shaving type socket, for charging tooth brushes or shaver (or itemise as not included). These observations weren't deal breakers for us, but we would like to provide as feedback for consideration.

Summary: Extremely nice, facilities & property very well kept. Location amenieties plentiful & walkable.

Positive: The cottage was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Hosts were friendly and responsive to emails. All in all an excellent stay Biggar whilst visiting family.
