Positive: Loved the location. It was a little more tucked away than some of the other places we have stayed at but still very close to everything. One of the main walking/biking trails was just off the main porch for easy access. The cabin space was great, well thought out and had nice furniture. My wife and I enjoyed the extra room, but it would have definitely been comfortable for two couples or a small family with room to spare. Kitchen appliances were well above average for most rentals we've booked in Sunriver, and we enjoyed cooking on the gas range/barbecue. Also enjoyed the little things that the rental provided such as reading materials, games, etc. We didn't use the wood stove obviously since we stayed during summertime but it looked like it would be awesome in the winter. Very cozy cabin. Parking lot is a short walk to the cabin but it was easy enough to find and paved access was convenient.

Negative: It could use some small updates. For having such a newly equipped kitchen, we felt some of the cookware (specifically the pots / pans) looked pretty tired/worn out and basic. The upstairs bed was pretty soft for us, and the sheets/bedding was a bit outdated/not fitted well. The sheets kept coming off the bed. We found small spiders in the upstairs shower a couple days in a row, but they were easy enough to deal with. A few spots could have used a dusting, and it looked like someone who stayed there before had a dog because we saw dog hair in a few random places. We spent most of our time outside the rental during the day, but the home warms up a lot and really could benefit from AC, especially in the upstairs bedroom. We were surprised for having such a modern looking thermostat unit that the unit lacks AC. At night it cooled off enough when we kept the windows open, but then the house was very cold in the morning. The TVs are very basic, could benefit from upgrades. The grill could use some new grates as they are looking pretty worn, and the grill brush needs to be thrown out and replaced with a heavier duty one. It would be really awesome if the house supplied bikes to ride, with the trail right next to the rental. Most other rentals we've stayed in at Sunriver had bikes available to use right from the rental. With all that back deck space, more deck furniture / maybe a hot tub would be awesome. These are just things in our mind that would make the rental great rather than good. We still enjoyed the stay.
