Positive: I had a great stay - just here for 10 days or so on business but it made a great base. The location was good - just a short walk in to town or to the pub across the water. The facilities were great - good modern kitchen with a coffee machine, clean, modern oven, etc. Was a bit chilly at night so the log burner was a welcome addition, and made it feel even more cosy. No complaints.

Negative: The property was great - no complaints. Good to note that as you would expect from a period property of this age and type, the stairs are steep, so if you have mobility issues or small kids it might be best to look elsewhere.

Summary: Lovely stay, good location, easy check in and comms.

Negative: The couch made the livingroom look like an elderly house, a cozy fabric sofa would make it much more pleasant and would fit better in this cozy house.

Positive: Very comfortable, clean and well decorated. Welcome basket of biscuits milk and nibbles was very thoughtful. The introduction notes which explained every thing we needed very helpful. Location was close enough to town but at the same time quiet with little traffic.

Negative: We found that the beds were a little soft. The extractor fan for the bathroom took and age to switch off. A dish cloth for washing dishes rather than the sponge would for us have been better. Another tea towel for drying to let the first dry out.

Summary: A very pleasant, clean and thoughtful place to stay.

Positive: The cottage is beautiful with quality furnishings. Beautiful location.

Negative: The lack of parking. The advert said free parking, which was only 6pm to 9am. We had to park a distance away to guarantee a space. This caused us a lot of inconvenience as we're not young and both have a multitude of health issues. It may not be an issue to other visitors, so it's just a personal issue for us.

Positive: Lovely little house with everything we needed. We were able to park nearby without any issue. Lots of information booklets provided.

Negative: The stairs were a bit steep, anyone with mobility issues might struggle. For us it would have been better to stay in high town as not many eateries were open on the Monday of our stay, possibly due to being off peak. One of the bedrooms was small but was still a double, which was good.

Negative: Lots of stairs even to the beautiful terrace and up to the town of Bridgnorth itself but it keeps you fit!
