Where the Rock River flows into Lake Koshkonong you will find the White House, nestled among 2.2 acres of towering trees, rolling manicured lawns, and wet and wild waterfront. Close to everything southwestern Wisconsin has to offer with all the space and amenities you need for your weekend getaway with friends, vacation with the kids, or large family gathering.

WATERFRONT: Brand new Pier with room to Dock your boat! Launch your boat at the public launch (1 block away) and keep it in the lake for your whole stay. Take one of our tubes or life vests and go for a swim! Grab a pole and Go fishing! Grab a seat on our pier’s Built in bench for watching sunsets or relaxing. Ask about our 2 person sit-on Kayak Rental. Note: 1 lane Ellendale Rd separates the house from our waterfront at the end of our large yard. Our waterfront has a large deck and swimming ladder. The area in front of the pier is NO WAKE so no boats zooming past! Rare for the area!
CLEANLINESS: We have our home professionally cleaned between guests following guidelines from VRBO and we allow 24 hours between reservations. We have whole-house HEPA air filtration. We also provide plenty of antibacterial soap, paper towels and disinfecting cleaning wipes for guests to use during their stay. Cleanliness has always been of the utmost importance to us, therefore there we do not allow pets or smoking on property.

Hike up the hill and pick wild black raspberries. Make s'mores by the Firepit. Snuggle in cozy blankets on the big comfy couches and play cards or watch a movie on cable. Fishing is great year round: catching bluegill, crappie, bass, northern, etc.

Our Policies/Rules:
Please take the time to review our guest policies; you legally agree to these policies when you confirm your stay on HomeAway:
1. NO SMOKING/VAPING in the house or covered decks.
2. NO PETS
3. If any property is damaged, broken, soiled, or lost during your stay, please let me know ASAP via text. Don't try to cover it up! It's When you book, you pay a small Renters Insurance fee for ACCIDENTAL damage to the property up to $1,500. That means you won't have to pay for any accidental damage/loss, but we need your cooperation in order to make a claim. So don't waste the insurance fee for both of us - just let us know if something goes wrong!
4. Please leave the house/property as you found it. That means: shutting and locking all doors/windows, turning off all lights/fans/tvs/electric fireplace, turning off central heat/AC, putting dirty dishes in dishwasher, and take all garbage/recycling out to the dumpsters next to the garage. No need to do any other cleaning beyond these items, but excessively dirty condition will be charged an additional fee at the discretion of our cleaning service. In other words, don't wreck our house - we love it too!
5. Please Be Safe! Be especially careful around the water, on the main stairs (they are steep!) and with the gas grill and firepit.
