Summary: Great house! Lots of room for our family of 11 to sleep, play, and relax. The proximity to "our" beach made our stay even better. We enjoyed the backyard (Cornhole, etc) as well. Lisa's communication was excellent. There were very few horseshoe crabs but there were jellyfish and our girls got stung on the first beach day. (The stings did not ruin our stay and both girls got back into the water. Apparently there was an increase in jellyfish along the bay and Rehoboth and down the coast.) The bay was perfectly serene and allowed for beautiful views, walks, and floats. Our only criticisms are that the house was a bit dusty here and there and had a few cobwebs. There was a gross pan left in the stove too! Some of the beds were too soft for our liking but overall we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Broadkill Beach and we plan to return! Thank you, Lisa!

Summary: Easy check-in process, 3 large bedrooms sharing 2 bathrooms. There is also an alcove with 2 bunk beds and access to the deck overlooking the bay (no door but a curtain covers the opening). There is a game room on the top (4th) floor with a bayfront window view and its own full bath. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of dishes, utinsels, pots, pans, and serving ware. The coffee pot was almost smarter than we were but 4 of us eventually figured it out! 2 decks were equipped with tables and plenty of seating. The home has an abundance of games, books for all ages baby-adult, and children’s high chair and dishes. There are no linens or towels provided (kitchen or bath-don’t forget the bath mats like we did!) but we ordered the king and twin sized sheets we needed from Amazon for less than the rental companies charge. We didn’t realize we’d also need blankets but the decorative comforters worked pretty well with the great HVAC system so we were never cold (November). The fire-pit was a bonus so don’t forget your s’more skewers (grocery store is nearby). WiFi was great. Owner was quick to reply to my questions prior to the stay. We never had any real issues after we arrived so no need to contact her during the stay. We saw porpoises one morning so bring your camera!

Summary: This property is located right on the beach. When we went in late August, the beach was nearly empty and it was wonderful having a quiet, private beach trip. The home is beautiful with plenty of space and bedrooms to make a family comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would return again.
