Positive: The bed was comfortable. To be fair, there were just enough of the necessities to make it ok.

Negative: It was very small. Main problem being nowhere to put your luggage, the other that the bathroom is so small it's hard to dry yourself. It was cold when we were there, so sitting outside was not an option, but it was a nice garden. Breakfast was minimal

Positive: We loved staying here! Great cabin which had everything we needed for our stay and was very clean. Beautiful garden. Great and very responsive host. Amazing value for money!

Negative: The cabin is quite small which we expected and was no problem at all but it might be a struggle if you were staying more than a few nights.

Positive: A clean compact tidy cabin in a private garden setting that was an easy short drive from Otorohanga - we were enroute to Auckland . Some handy provisions included breakfast supplies and a delicious homemade granola. A bowl of fresh feijoas were an added bonus! We didn’t see the owners but the directions were clear and helpful and a number of signs led us to the cabin. A lovely garden walkway had fairy lights to show the way. I’d prefer this et up over a main road motel any day. Owners kindly recommended a local bar ‘ the thirsty weta’ to eat at where we enjoyed a meal and drink, slow food service but friendly young staff doing their best.

Negative: The first 40 winks sign would have been easier to see if some lights on it- we arrived after dark, and personally I’d prefer cotton sheets. Some bedside reading lights would also be appreciated

Summary: Clean compact cabin which does exactly as described- a comfy forty winks with added bonus supplies.

Positive: The owner was prompt in addressing the fact that the gas had run out on our first morning!! no hot shower.

Negative: I messaged to say I would have not internet, so please text or call with details of how to access the property. The owner replied BY EMAIL so I had to call at 0930pm to find out how to gain access. There is nothing telling you to walk all the way down the concrete path to arrive at the cabin, no signage. A bit frustrating after a long day.

Summary: The property was lovely, but communication could have been better. Please check the gas.
