The purpose-built swimming pool building has underfloor heating all year round and includes two changing rooms with showers, separate toilet and a large sitting area for spectators. Lark Rise sits in ¾ of an acre of colourful gardens, with apple and plum orchard, and is surrounded by open countryside. It lies less than 3 miles from the ancient market town of Stowmarket, which offers a leisure centre, children’s indoor play area, golf course and many amenities. The property is decorated with a Christmas theme during he festive season.
The location is ideal for day trips to the coast or the Norfolk Broads, as well as racing at Newmarket. There are many historic buildings within easy reach, including Ickworth House Park and Gardens (NT), Euston Hall, Framlingham Castle, Eye Castle, Wingfield Old College and many more. For excellent country walks, Gipping Valley and Thornham Estate have 12 miles of footpaths, while at Suffolk Water Park and Needham Lake there are water sports available. The area also offers plenty for animal lovers, with British birds of prey at Stonham Barns and the Suffolk Wildlife Park both within easy reach. Nearby is the busy port of Ipswich, which boasts several medieval churches and some fine 16th-century buildings. Summary: We loved our stay at Lark Rise. There was literally everything there that we needed and the bungalow was a lovely home from home. It was great having 2 en-suites and a bathroom and it was the perfect layout for our family of 4 and 2 grandparents as their room was nicely separate from ours. The pool was lovely and warm and a really good, big size with a nice seating area. We had lots of fun thank you!

Summary: Overall property was excellent.most aspects of the property were excellent and we could not fault areas particularly the swimming pool which was well used. Summary: I literally do not know where to begin. Our stay with lark rise was simply fantastic. The house and location are beautiful; there is plenty of space with great sized bedrooms and kitchen, and sitting dining area for the whole family. The home is so well equipped and literally everything is thought of making it a real home from home. The star of the show without a doubt is the pool: absolutely fantastic and made the holiday for us! There is plenty to do and see within around an hour and we enjoyed days out to Thetford, Colchester Zoo and Southwold despite the weather. We cannot recommend more and hope to return again. Covid wise the house was thoroughly cleaned and immaculate and they had measures in place to protect everyone: could not have felt safer. An absolutely wonderful break away! Summary: This was our second visit to Lark Rise and the whole family had a great time. The house is well equipped and comfortable. The garden surrounds the house and is very pretty and well kept and the grandchildren had a great time playing in it . The best feature is the pool. Its one of the nicest one we have used with lovely warm water and good shower facilities.
