The luxury retreat is the perfect central location to hit all the best our region has to offer. It's just a short 20-minute drive to beautiful LAKE CHELAN, for those who want to visit but prefer to escape the bustle of vacationing crowds, and the ultimate location for golfing families and friends looking to enjoy the Alta Lake Golf Resort (an 8-minute drive west), the world class GAMBLE SANDS course (a 15-minute drive north) and Chelan’s Bear Mountain Ranch course (a 25-minute drive south).
This guesthouse is nestled between two rivers—where the iconic Methow meets the grand Columbia—in the heart of the sleepy town of Pateros. Wake up each morning and enjoy hot coffee on a private deck with spectacular waterfront and mountain views!
A public access boat launch and Columbia waterfront park are an easy two-minute drive, or pleasant waterfront walk from the guesthouse. See my detailed guidebook for all the best local recommendations!
The 2700 square foot guesthouse is newly furnished with brand-new bedding, Casper hybrid mattresses, vaulted ceilings, large windows filling the home with natural light, a fully-equipped kitchen with double ovens, dishwasher, induction cooktop, large refrigerator/freezer and granite countertops.
Guests have exclusive use of the entire top floor (four bedrooms, three full bathrooms). The master suite houses a king bed with an attached master bath that includes granite countertops, double sinks and a large, walk-in shower, heated floors, and walk-in closet. Twin bedroom includes an extra TV and Nintendo Classic set with four wireless remotes. Up to 4 additional roll away beds can be provided based upon need.
Washer and dryer are available for guests booking three nights or longer.

The property adjoins a splash pad—a real treat for kids in the summer—and the entire property is directly across the street from the Pateros Community Park with a great playset for kids! Enjoy unparalleled views of the hydroplane races and Apple Pie Jamboree from your private deck.
With access to community docks and a boat launch, it’s the ideal getaway for Columbia salmon fisherman or Methow trout fisherman seeking a home away from home. Boat parking is also available. Methow Valley trails abound for our hikers, nature lovers, and cross-country skiers.

Check-in time is flexible, and to be arranged with host.
- Guests are invited to enjoy the entire top floor of the house, but are asked to be respectful of the property, and to treat it as if it were their own. The bottom floor is a commercial space occupied by our two private businesses, which are not included in the rental space. You can’t hear us, but we can hear you during business hours, Monday through Friday. We love little munchkins (we have eight between the four of us!) but we ask for no running or jumping between 8 AM and 5 PM Monday through Friday, and that guests remove their shoes at all times.
ON-SITE LAUNDRY is available and complimentary on the premises for guests booking stays of three nights or longer, but must be arranged through the property Manager.
- THE SIGNATURE OF THE RESPONSIBLE PARTY IS REQUIRED ON OUR SHORT-TERM RENTAL AGREEMENT. We reserve the right to cancel the reservations of guests who refuse to sign and abide by the terms of the short-term rental agreement.

Summary: This property was an absolutely wonderful place to visit! The unit is beautifully decorated with great views of the water. We happened to be there during the city’s annual Apple Festival, what a fun time that was!! The owner was easy to contact and quickly answered any questions or concerns we had. The only thing that could be an issue is it is on the second floor of the building. It is easily accessible via a carpeted stairway but if a guest has trouble with stairs this property wouldn’t work for them. My group had a wonderful stay!
