Positive: The apartment was clean and simple. It is a 5-10 minute walk from most places, very close to Tirana centre. Uncle and aunty were very welcoming. We began this trip with a shot of raki and coffee and ended it the same. Their warm smile was infectious. It felt like home, like spending time with family, just what we needed. Uncle ensured that we had a parking spot everyday which is a rarity in Tirana considering how centrally located this place is. Their hospitality is exceptional. Would love to come back here.

Negative: Nothing. It's a great place to stay.

Positive: On arrival the hosts were EXTREMELY flexible with timings, met me outside and very, very beautifully accommodated during my stay. Greeted with espressos on the house during my business calls. Absolutely brilliant.

Negative: I didn’t like the fact I couldn’t stay longer!! I will be back soon!!

Positive: Excellent location, incredible host and fully equipped flat. You are located in the middle of Blloku, the trendiest are in Tirana. Around there are plenty of nice cafes and restaurants. The apartment is quite large (living room with kitchen, bedroom with two beds and bathroom), with various appliances like fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, moka coffee machine, etc. The bed and the pillow were particularly comfortable (Yay, hard pillows! Why it's not the standard?) It was worth the price for me. But the best part is their hospitality! I was welcomed with a bottle of raki to have together with them. During the week they gifted me some baklava and even a bottle of wine for the New Year celebrations! Best host ever.

Negative: I was in Tirana during a pretty cold week, with temperatures dropping to even -4°C at night. In general, the houses in town are not so well insulated. Luckily I could use the AR to warm up the room before going to sleep. It wasn't a big problem for me and definitely it's not gonna be a problem in warmer days but if you are suffering from the cold you might want to plan accordingly.

Positive: This morning, we had to leave the city center by 3AM. Not only did the family organize a taxi for us (cheaper than the apps), but they woke up at 3AM to bring us to the meeting spot. That's the kind of hosts they are. We stayed with them twice and the next time we're in Tirana, it's the first place we're going. 10/10 family, 10/10 apartment with everything you could ever want in the heart of the city.

Positive: We received a very warm welcome. The location is great if you want to see the park or a very busy area of Tirana. The apartment was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We can highly recommend this place. You will feel like you are visiting an uncle.

Negative: It was hard to find the place. The details given on booking.com are not exact. So, make sure to have internet to communicate directly with the host when you are near the apartment.
