We are the new owners of MULBERRY (and sister cottage MAPLE 2879102), and are continuing the many years that this property has welcomed family getaways, FSU fans, hiking enthusiasts and extended stay workers with rave reviews.
On the North side of Tallahassee, you will be surrounded by forest on the beautiful Canopied Meridian Rd adjacent to Alfred B MaClay State Park and Lake Overstreet Trails.
Enjoy the melody of birds, crickets and cicadas throughout the day and see the deer in the morning and evening from the screened-in back deck. Stroll around the luscious 3-Acre's and help yourself to the many varieties of fruits in season during your stay.
With a central location, you are minutes from the state capital downtown, or an hour from the coast. Visit some of our family favorites: the beach at St. George's Island (1hr. 45min), a hike around the lake of MaClay State Park(5 minute walk - next door!), or spend the day at the boutique shops of Thomasville, GA and hip restaurants (30 minute drive).

Summary: This older mobile home is located on a beautiful property away from the city, yet a convenient drive. The hosts are so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Lovely experience.

Summary: Traveling with little is hard. Especially when in confined spaces and having not a lot of playgrounds available. This VRBO was perfect. They had their own room, were able to go outside to play whenever they wanted. It was great.

Summary: We needed to potentially extend our stay and the hosts blocked the dates and extended for us. The DVD wasn’t working and they brought us a PS4 to watch movies on. They are so kind and gracious. They are super easy to work with.

Summary: My family and I stayed here during my wedding weekend April 30, 2022. We stayed in the Magnolia House. Beautiful property. Awesome stay. Diane was a great host. The property was everything I had hoped for and more. It was comfy and spacious and felt like home. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we're talking about booking again in the future. If you're looking for peace and quiet in a rustic setting this is your place.
