Summary: I'd like to start by saying that the home was very clean. However we encountered issues from the moment we arrived. In the check-in email there are very specific instructions regarding a SILVER key in the lockbox and to ONLY USE the silver key. It also tells you that there is only one silver key so don't misplace it. There was no silver key. None. There were 2 GOLD keys. We reached out to the host about this with no response. We used the gold keys, hoping that they would work. Thankfully they did. In the welcome email there is also very specific instructions regarding each TV. Stating that each one works differently and to "take your time learning them". No. Absolutely not! We are not tech savvy folks and I am not on a fun trip to try and decipher tricky TVs. It took over 30 minutes to figure one TV out. If the TVs are so tricky, printed instructions to each TV need to be made available. Also...there is a remote for EVERYTHING! Way too much emphasis put on techy, gadgety stuff. Keep it simple! The coffee machine did not work, the ice maker did not make ice until our last day, there were no trash bags....we had to buy some, the master bathroom toilet never flushed correctly and there was NO TOILET PAPER in the house! We had partial rolls on each toilet paper holder and no extra toilet paper anywhere. There is another review stating no toilet paper as well. This was unacceptable. Again...it was a clean home but the stay was incredibly frustrating. I reached out to the host

Summary: We were in Fredericksburg to attend my son's wedding and reception. The place is beautiful, clean and centrally located, making getting around a breeze. My only negative was there were a lot of steps, as all the bedrooms are on the third level.

Summary: Overall house was perfectly fine and fit our needs. The issues came in that the washer was broken the entire time we were there. Hosted offered to wash but that is somewhat uncomfortable. Also, we lost access to the community pool due to the zoning of the property that was a block away. Air conditioner had a tough time reaching the third floor. Kitchen missing cutting boards and proper knifes for preparing food. On a positive note the host was easy to reach and responded quickly.

Summary: The house itself was wonderful. The mattress in the main bedroom was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. I even messaged the host to ask the brand. They had a cute pool table the teens enjoyed and there were tvs on every floor so everyone could watch together or separate. The kitchen and furniture were very modern. If I had to list a down side it might be that while the location was ideal for through travelers (what we used it for) being right off the highway, the neighborhood outside the complex wasn’t the best. The host was very responsive and the place was super clean.

Summary: This property met our needs. It was clean and had plenty of room for all four of us - one couple, two friends. We received the instructions for entry one day prior, and everything was where it said it would be. The only compliant - the lighting in the main seating area was inadequate. There is a lamp that flickers and seems to be a bit faulty, there was no light from the fan above, and no lights overhead. Other than that compliant - it was was fine. We've stayed in nicer places, we've stayed in worse places.

Summary: The property's proximity to UMW was great for our daughter's graduation. However, there were a few inconveniences. The check-in process was simple but required multiple codes, and using a physical key was unexpected. This makes it hard for people to come and go, as someone has to stay home since there’s only one key. The listing did not explicitly mention the number of stairs or the location of the bathrooms. If you have issues walking a lot of stairs, there are three flights to the bedrooms, and the bathrooms are on the first and third levels. So, a lot of up and down. The property lacked some amenities, such as an adequate supply of eating utensils, coffee cups, etc., and temperature control was an issue. Also, it lists an iron/board. There isn't a board, so you need to iron on the washer, which is difficult since we were there for a graduation and we needed to iron a lot of clothes. The Nest has a preprogrammed heat/air option, and while it was set to 67, the temperature never went below 75. So, just to be aware, it’s warm in the house. On the positive side, the owner was responsive and helpful. They answered all my questions very quickly and were very welcoming and considerate. Overall, the location was convenient, with nearby amenities and easy access to attractions.

Summary: Came out to Virginia for son’s Marine officer graduation from Quantico . Close to everything, VERY CLEAN, fun pool table, lots of TVS for a family. Recommend the Sedona Tap house and Mellow Mushroom pizza. It was very QUIET and master bedroom bed was very comfortable! Everyone slept well.

Summary: This is a very nice place. It is a very comfortable, higher-end home. You will definitely feel right at home here, and you will not regret booking this place. A few things where the listing could use a little more info or is just not correct -- if you have a problem with stairs then this is not the place for you. This is a 3-level townhouse and there are 31 stairs from the ground level to the 3rd floor where the bedrooms and full bathrooms are. We definitely got some exercise in! The listing says that there are 3+ bathrooms, but in reality there are 2 full bathrooms on the 3rd floor and a half bathroom on the ground level. The main living space (kitchen-living-dining rooms) are on the 2nd level, so you will be running up and down stairs quite a bit. Also, the listing says that check-in time is 3pm, but the host will tell you that it is actually 4pm when you get the welcome email with check-in instructions. Keep that in mind when making your travel plans. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
