3 Bedroom House in Franktown

Our private guest house in the pine trees shares 20 acres with the main house. It looks like a barn on the outside and lives like a custom home inside. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath home includes 2 queen bedrooms downstairs and a large loft and 3rd room (with no windows or closet in the room) that sleeps an additional 4-6. We ar behind a private gate surrounded by pine trees. There is a wide open area for volleyball, BBQ pit, horseshoes, and RV parking. We have a fully equipped gourmet kitchen and 60” TV. We are 4 minutes from historic Elizabeth, 10 minutes from the Colorado Horse Park, 15 minutes to Castle Rock and 4O minutes to Denver.
Our guest house has an open floor plan. Great for a big family. Super quiet country home. Draft horses on the property. Sometimes the owner gives carriage rides.
There is a desk work space, complimentary washer and dryer in the unit, bathroom amenities such as hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner, etc.

Summary: It was a nice place to relax with family. Better than hotel rooms. Easy access to Castlerock, Franktown and Elizabeth. Not bad to Parker either. It has a well stocked kitchen, comfy gathering area and nice big dining table. Showers are a bit tight. Beds were decent. Outside gathering areas need to be spruced up. When we stayed there, it was unusually hot. The place has no AC, but the whole house fan cooled it off after the sun went down. Host couple were very good to work with.

Summary: Very comfortable place to be with family in country. 7 minutes from a Walmart. Comfortable furniture, clean kitchen and bathrooms. Nicely decorated.

Summary: Our second stay at this very comfortable converted barn. Convenient to the horse park, castle rock and Parker. Owners are easy to work with and it is very peaceful out in the country. Would definitely stay again!

Summary: Ed and Janet were great hosts. My girls enjoyed meeting Ed’s 2 draft horses and feeding them carrots. Very easy check in. Close distance to the Horse Park and stores. Beautiful area filled with wildlife!

Summary: Worked excellent for our needs, bunks and futon upstairs for the kids and queen beds downstairs. Full kitchen and large dining room was great. Owners were very friendly and helpful. If we return to the area with a similar group this will top our list of lodging options.

Summary: This is a great place to get away! From the outside it looks like a barn but inside it is a home that is really comfortable! The pictures do not do it justice. It actually has three bedrooms with bunks in the loft as well. The beds and all furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked for a group. The location is peaceful and having the horses on the property is a bonus. The owners were great to work with and responsive. Am staying again next weekend so goes without saying I would stay again!!

Summary: Very clean, comfortable and spacious! Peaceful countryside, yet close enough to see Pikes Peak, downtown Denver and Rocky Mountain National Park with a short drive ! Nicely stocked with kitchen supplies and owners available and very responsive !! We really enjoyed it!!
