Positive: Plenty of space in the property. Big TV with lots of channels. Direct access to the garden from the kitchen/diner. Clothes horse and baby high chair in walk in cupboard plus vacuums, mops etc etc. Downstairs toilet. Easy to use alarm system. Convenient location for lots of places of interest.

Negative: Couches in living room not well positioned for watching the TV however, they are comfy. No tin opener in kitchen. No mirror in King Size bedroom.

Summary: A modern home to relax in, with great access links to places of interests.

Positive: We were left a Welcome Pack of Bread, Butter, Milk, Tea and Coffee which was much appreciated. Fresh fluffy towels. Comfy sofas and a big TV. Great showers and a warm home. Very well equipped :)

Positive: comfortable sofa, good washing machine and fridge freezer. large television. good running/walking routes along canal.

Negative: smelled stale and of cooking smells, ensuite shower didn’t work. garden needed attending to. decor a bit like stepping back to early 1990’s. a bit depressing. No coffee making facility eg no cafetière or coffee machine. bathroom and ensuite was old fashioned and taps dirty. mould on bedroom roller blinds. cctv in front and back door felt very invasive.

Positive: Warm house with comfortable furniture and beds. Off road parking for one car. Large fridge/freezer. There were two of us and we stayed for 4 nights. Garden. Excellent quiet location for walks in the National Forest and convenience of large local Co-op 5 minutes walk away.

Negative: A new property for holiday lets. Problem with new lock on front door. Took nearly 10 minutes before we could open door. Then got shut out again. Neighbour opposite came with WD40 with no success. Eventually opened side gate and accessed house from patio door in garden. Latch not returning properly. Closed and locked door with mortice key from then on. Problems with shower (no pressure although pump fitted) Mentioned by previous guests and not seen to. We were unable to use it. General rubbish bin, outside patio door, nearly full on our arrival. Garden rubbish bin with grass cuttings and general rubbish, in black bag, on top. Open boxes ,for recycling, left outside in front garden and rubbish had blown. (other houses had boxes with tops.) Having to purchase toilet paper. ) One quarter of a roll for three toilets and no spares. Only old cloths and sponge in kitchen. Asked not to use water dispenser in fridge - removed reservoir and dirty water left in it. Food left in pantry. Un ironed bed linen and hard towels - one per person. Nothing has been done in the garden. There are very large flower pots, with shrubs in pots inside them, which have no drainage and are full of slimy water. We had no contact with the owner before or after our stay. There was an open box on the hall window ledge for owner/company post which was fairly full.

Summary: Good but very poor maintenance and servicing.
